Scholarship
1. During the time of involvement in the activity, students must carry at least five (5) major subjects. Five subjects must carry full graduation credit.
2. Two F's, two incompletes, two N's or any combination thereof in all subjects will prevent a student from participating in an activity. In the case of incompletes, this rule applies until such time as the incomplete grades are made up to a passing average. Ineligibility lists are published quarterly, and reflect a cumulative average when possible.
Attendance
1. Unless excused by the principal, students must attend school on the day a practice, performance, game, meeting, or other student activity is scheduled in order to participate in that activity.
2. If students are absent from school on a Friday, or the day preceding a holiday, they may not participate the following day without permission from the principal.
3. Students suspended for any portion of a school day are barred from participation over a weekend if the suspension occurs on a Friday.
4. Students who arrive tardy after 11:00 a.m. are considered absent for the day, and this absence effects their eligibility.
Alcohol and Drugs
1. Students will not possess, use, consume, buy, sell, or give away any alcohol or drug. Possession includes group possession in automobiles, at parties, etc. The only exception to this rule is by doctor prescription for the student using these materials. Students who use such materials without the authority cited above are ineligible.
2. On the first offense, the student will be suspended from all activities for three (3) months.
3. On the second and subsequent violations, the student will be suspended form all activities for one calendar year (12 months)
